Combustion research and TESTS
TEST CHAMBERS
Some are already equipped to conduct tests on hydrogen combustion and for powers up to 250kW. Tests are conducted in these chambers to evaluate performance of the equipment.
CLASS 1 SEMI-ANECHOIC CHAMBER
dedicated to acoustic, noise, and approval tests.
LIFE TEST
With 20 stations for boilers and exchangers and other stations for free air tests. Here resistance is tested through cycles that simulate the actual life of the equipment.
NUMERICAL ANALYSES AND SIMULATIONS
we carry out analyses through fluid dynamics software (CFD) for flow and combustion simulations. We also use structural software (FEM) that identifies potential deformations and instabilities in a project.
HYDROGEN COMBUSTION
Our research center is fully dedicated to the ongoing energy transition and for several years has been studying alternative zero-emissions sources, especially hydrogen. Our research center already boasts two dedicated test rooms where the behavior of our products is tested in the presence of 100% hydrogen or hydrogen/methane mixtures. Their functioning is also simulated using computational fluid dynamics software.
Thanks to these studies, our burners are employed in the main pilot projects that call for the use of hydrogen as a resource for the heating of rooms both in Europe and internationally.
